DNS-ITR Project

CAIDA DNS-ITR project "Improving the Integrity of Domain Name System (DNS) Monitoring and Protection" (NSF grant SCI-0427144) started in 2004. Our primary objective is to provide much needed data in support of the DNS research. The data collection and analysis methods, services and tools resulting from this project will be essential to protecting the robustness and advancing the development of the global Internet.

Current Status

The 3rd year of the project ended on August 31, 2007. We had received a one year no-cost extension till August 31, 2008 to finish tasks outlined below.
